Not all business relationships are perfect. First, we want to ensure that our values are aligned with yours. On this call, we learn about your goals for expansion. Likewise, we share our experience with you and make sure you are ready to take the next step. To get on our Buyers List, you will need to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement in order to review important materials for our listed agencies.
Once we have made it through the introduction phase, we meet with you to determine your strategy. If necessary, we introduce you to lenders, lawyers and other professionals so you understand what it takes to acquire an agency. At this point, we want to make sure you are prepared when the opportunity comes. Good listings don't last long for a reason. "Failure to prepare is preparing to fail."
Once you have an acquisition target, we provide you with the valuable information and insight needed to make an offer to the seller. Offers begin with Letters of Intent. If accepted, you put forth earnest money so the discovery and loan processes can begin. This is where we bring the added value. We use our acquisition experience to help you stay on track for closing.
Did you know that most mountain climbing accidents occur on the way down? Selling your agency works the same way. This process requires thought & preparation. We're here to provide that for you. During our first call, we learn about you, your agency, and what your expectations are for selling. Here, we decide if we are a fit for one another.
As someone who has acquired multiple agencies, I know exactly what steps sellers need to take to ensure they present the best buying opportunity to the market. In this stage we help you get all of your documents in order and create a profile for perspective buyers to review. Preparation and attention to detail is absolutely key at this stage.
Once a Letter of Intent is received from an interested buyer, the fun really starts. From here, we work with all parties involved to ensure that we get everyone to the closing table, together and on time. How long this process takes is up the buyers and sellers being on the same page and being prepared. At the end of the day, we want everyone to feel like they succeeded when the deal is complete.
